If “Cook & Logue” sounds to you like a pair of Victorian body snatchers, their art won’t disabuse you of the notion. A sort of Hatch Show Print for the children of EC Comics, their gleefully macabre posters, prints and T-shirt designs come emblazoned with bedrock horror iconography—remnants of a childhood misspent with Famous Monsters, Roger Corman’s Poe adaptations and Dark Shadows reruns. Small wonder graphic designer Richard Cook and pin-up/poster artist Robert Logue (yes, the Royal Court of China/Shakers co-founder) have become favorites on the horror-convention circuit.
